BOOYAA! If you’ve seen Jim Cramer’s Mad Money show on CNBC you probably either love him or hate him. I love to watch him even though I know he’s an egomaniac. Even if you hate him, you have to admit, he’s a smart egomaniac!
The guy’s made more money in the stock market than I can even think about. And he’s not shy about telling you how you can make money too. Right now he’s trying to get people to sign up for a free trial of his stock alerts service, so he’s giving away free copies of his book to entice you! That’s right, a free hardcover Jim Cramer book for trying out a free service.
I’m gonna sign up
and I think you will, too.

You’ve all seen the commercials – Learn how to sell on eBay Free! The Video Professor want to give you one of his training DVDs free to introduce you to his learning series! Well, I’m here to tell you, it’s a lie, they’re not free!
I recently started to sign up for the eBay DVD, and when I got to the second screen – guess what – they told me I had to pay $6.95 to have the thing shipped to me! That’s not free! $6.95 is not free! Pretty cheap maybe… but not free.
So… fair warning – these may be very good training DVDs, but the first one ain’t free, it’s $6.95. Here’s the ad if you want to try it.

Vistaprint is an online print shop that is always giving away free stuff to try to get your attention. I’m sure you’ve all seen their ads for 250 free business cards – that’s great if you need business cards, but I don’t need any business cards.
What I do need is clothes, and Vistaprint is giving away T-shirts, too, so guess what I’m gonna order? I get to design it myself, and I’m a pretty clever guy so you know it’ll be good. Here’s their ad in case you need clothes too!

I have broadband internet (cable) and I’ve always been disappointed by the speed – the commercials I’ve seen promise blinding-fast internet, but the truth is I spend an awful lot of time waiting for pages to load. I can’t help but wonder if dial-up is really that much slower.
I know it’s lots cheaper – I’m currently spending $35.00/month for Comcast broadband service and NetZero offers unlimited dial-up for only $6.95/month. I’m thinking about signing up for a free trial (10 hours/month is free, for as long as you want it) just to test it and see if it’s really worth an extra $28/month for my current sluggish service.
The free service is also great if you’re traveling and don’t have access to your home service.
If you want to try out NetZero’s free internet access click here.
